Bristol Palin and Levi Johnston reportedly call off engagement again

Saturday, July 31st, 2010

Bristol Palin and Levi Johnston reportedly call off engagement again Bristol Palin
has reportedly called off her second engagement to Levi
Johnston
due to a fight over an ex-girlfriend, although the two have not commented publicly.

"There was an interview with her and Bristol wasn't happy about some
of the things said," E! News on Friday quoted a source as saying, adding that Bristol Palin had seen a photo of Johnston with the girl in a Facebook photo and said, 'Let's hold
off on the engagement.'"

Bristol Palin, was engaged to Johnson, 20, in 2008 and gave birth to
Tripp that December at age 18, which
became a major issue during her mothers' vice presidential campaign,
launched that year with Republican presidential candidate John McCain.
Several weeks later, Bristol Palin and Johnson called off their
engagement.

Bristol Palin, now 19, filed a legal
petition in November seeking sole custody of her son and child support
payments from Johnston.

Bristol Palin and Johnston announced in mid-July via an Us Weekly cover article that they became engaged for the second time without seeking the blessing of their parents,
including her mother and former U.S. presidential candidate Sarah Palin. Bristol Palin told the magazine they had
reconnected three months ago while working out a custody plan for Tripp.

Briston Palin later said her mother didn't approve of the engagement. Since the campaign, Johnston publicly accused Sarah Palin of
calling her son Trig "the retarded baby" and also said the Palins are on
the verge of divorce, which she has denied.

After the two broke off their first engagement, Johnston posed for Playgirl
magazine and made public appearances. Sarah Palin has said he was
acting "irresponsible" about his career and finances and called him
"misguided" and "lost".

Johnston later apologized for hostile statements he had made about the Palin family,
including  saying: "I publicly said things about the Palins that were
not completely true. I have already privately apologized to Todd and
Sarah."

Christina Applegate happy to be able to show ‘Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore’ to her future child

Saturday, July 31st, 2010

Christina Applegate happy to be able to show 'Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore' to her future child Christina Applegate
, who is pregnant with her first baby, has something extra to be happy about regarding her new film Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore – this is one of the few movies she feels comfortable showing her child.

"I really wanted to do something that I could let the kids in my life see," Applegate told OnTheRedCarpet.com. "I can't really show them anything that I'm in because it's all a little bit more adult. It was nice to do this and Alvin and be able to share this with all the children in my life and now, my own child, get to share that with my own child."

Applegate voiced a chipmunk named Brittany in the 2009 film Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel. Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore was released on Friday and stars James Marsden, Nick Nolte and Neil Patrick Harris. Applegate voices a cat named Catherine who is a member of spy group MEOWS.

Bette Midler is the voice of Kitty Galore, a villainous cat who wants to take over the world. The dogs and their former feline enemies must join forces to stop her evil plan.

"Kids can watch it and think 'Oh my god, is my cat or my dog have this
covert operation when I’m not looking?’ You really get into that," Applegate said. "When I came home, even though I’m a rational human
being, I for one second looked at both my cat and my dog and was like, 'What do you guys do when I’m not here? What is it?'"

Applegate's pregnancy was reported earlier this month. The 38-year-old actress and Martyn Lenoble, a 41-year-old Dutch musician and founding
member of rock group Porno For Pyros, announced in April they had become engaged on Valentine's Day. The couple, which dated for at least two years
beforehand, has not set a date for their wedding.

Applegate is known for her starring role in the comedy series Samantha

Who? between 2007 and 2009 and played ditzy Kelly Bundy in the
sitcom Married With Children,
which starred Ed O'Neill of Modern Family as her father,
Al Bundy, and debuted in 1987. She has had main parts in films such as the 2004 comedy Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy with Will Ferrell and the 2002 movie The Sweetest Thing.

Lenoble, 41, helped found alternative rock group Porno for Pyros,
known for singles such as "Cursed Female" and "Pets", in 1992 along with
former Jane's Addiction rockers Perry Farrell and Stephen Perkins.
Lenoble, the bass guitar player, left Porno for Pyros in 1996.

Applegate underwent a double mastectomy in 2008 after she was
diagnosed with breast cancer. She has since recovered. Applegate was
married to actor Johnathon Schaech for six years and the two divorced in
2007.

Check out the video interview with Christina Applegate, carried out by reporter Chi-Lan Lieu at the recent Los Angeles premiere for Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore:

T.I. and Tameka ‘Tiny’ Cottle marry in Florida

Saturday, July 31st, 2010

T.I. and Tameka 'Tiny' Cottle marry in Florida (AP Photo) T.I.
married his girlfriend Tameka Cottle in a courthouse in Miami, Florida on Friday, according to official records.

The 29-year-old Grammy-winning hip hop star, whose real name is Clifford Harris, and Cottle, 35 and nicknamed "Tiny", have reportedly been dating for at least nine years. Cottle used to be part of the 1990s R&B group Xscape.

The two broke up several times and became engaged about three years ago. The couple plans to repeat their vows on Saturday in front of close family and friends on a small private island off the coast of Miami, Us Weekly magazine said, adding that Cottle will wear Valentino. The couple will then returning to their hometown of Atlanta for a reception
on later that day before flying to Las Vegas to celebrate with friends, it said.

They have two sons – King, who is about 5 and Major, who is more than a year old. Cottle has a daughter named Zonnique Jailee who is about 13 and the T.I. has two sons and a daughter from previous relationships, named Messiah, Domani,
and Deyjah.

Several years ago, Cottle became pregnant with T.I.'s daughter but she was delivered stillborn. Cottle said the tragedy brought her and T.I. closer.

T.I. began serving a one-year prison sentence in May 2009 for
possessing firearms, which he is not allowed to do because of a previous drug conviction, before he was moved to a halfway house six months later. He was released in March.

T.I. had pleaded guilty following a plea deal with prosecutors, made after he had spent time on house arrest before his sentencing and after he had spoken before community groups and high schools about the dangers of drugs and violence. He later starred in his own reality series – T.I.'s Road to Redemption.

"Depending on the situation and the person, you should stick it out through thick and thin—the good and bad times," Cottle told Essence magazine in 2009. "If you know you're with someone who would give his life for you and is somewhat a responsible better half, then stand up for him. I know my man's heart and because of that I'm going to be everything I need to be for him. Yes, he's made mistakes, but so have I."

Vanilla Ice jumps car into lake, said to be for reality show (Video)

Saturday, July 31st, 2010

Vanilla Ice jumps Cadillac into lake for reality show (Video) Vanilla Ice, a rapper best known for the 1990 hit "Ice Ice Baby", recently jumped a 1967 Cadillac Fleetwood through fire and into a lake in what was said to mark a long-awaited stunt for his new reality show, which he says is set to air on the DIY Network in September.

The 42-year-old, whose real name is Rob Van Winkle, appeared to have a hard time getting out of the car as he squeezed himself out of the open driver's side window as the car sank.

He remained under water for a gripping few seconds and then surfaced before a
cheering crowd, yelling: "That's what I'm talking about! Where's that Cadillac?"

Vanilla Ice had promoted the stunt on local radio stations and had a difficult time getting permission from authorities to film it. Numerous complaints from the fire and sheriff’s
departments and the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and
Explosives had been made, the Florida-based website TCPalm.com had reported in May.

On his reality show, called The Vanilla Ice Project, the rapper and a crew of contractors are set to renovate different room of a 7,000-square-foot Palm Beach mansion and make it high-tech and environmentally friendly. The DIY network says Vanilla Ice brings 15 years of home improvement experience.

Vanilla Ice has renovate several properties and recently helped transform a Palm Beach building into a "condo" for cars, where people can live and store up to four vehicles.

He is set to release a new album called WTF on September 28. He began on Friday a U.S. tour that is set to end in the fall.

Check out a video of Vanilla Ice's jump!
